No fewer than nineteen vehicles have been destroyed at Owoleso area of Oke Bola while two people sustained serious injuries, as students of IMG Grammar School stormed the area.

The incident which occurred during a riot in the afternoon saw Junior and Senior students of the school throwing stones and attacking residents..

Radio Nigeria correspondent, who witnessed the incident, reports that the nineteen vehicles, which were parked for repairs, were damaged by the irate students.

Narrating his ordeals, a carpenter at Owoleso, Mr Kehinde Aderogba and his son Yemi Aderogba, who were on admission at a nearby hospital, said the students of Ansarudeen Grammar School, earlier launched an attack on IMG students, and that efforts to prevent reprisal from IMG students led to the attack on them.

In an interview, a mechanic in the area, Mr Kayode Ojediran said the crises in the school was recurrent, urging the government to put measure in place to nip it in the bud.

When contacted, Public Relation Officer, Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Police, Mr gbenga Fadeyi, said students that were involved in the crises had been arrested, adding that the State Commissioner of Police had ordered the Area Commander in Iyaganku and DPO to ensure the incident did not escalate.
