An aged woman and her grandchild have been confirmed dead in a lone road crash that occurred at Falawo, Epe junction, in Sagamu local government area of Ogun state.
Those who witnessed the crash recounted that a speeding car had lost control and somersaulted before hitting the woman and her granddaughter in front of their house.
The aged woman and her granddaughter reportedly died on the spot while the four occupants in the vehicle, including the driver were said to be rushed to the hospital.
Reacting to the incident, the Public Relations Officer of Ogun state Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, TRACE, Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi said the car was marked LSD 797 GJ.
