Stakeholders in the Yoruba land have been urged to harness their potentials to place the Southwest in the strategic cadre in the nation.

Speakers at a Pan Yoruba Summit make the call in Ibadan.

Speaking on the ‘Yoruba nation: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow’, the participants, who noted that the Southwest region had witnessed unprecedented development in the past, submitted that the struggles of today would evolve an enviable tomorrow.

Bishop of the African Church, Ibadan North Diocese, Abiodun Ademola charged Yoruba people to speak with one voice so as to achieve a common goal.

In an address to the summit, Governor of Osun State, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola, who admitted that the Southwest states are faced with various challenges, called for investment in the youths to enable them salvage the situation.

Convener of the programme, Barrister Oladosu Oladipo, urged the Yoruba people to support one another to attain prominent height.
