Report from the Ogun State Police Command in Abeokuta says the command had secured the release of the abducted Olabisi Onabanjo University Students, Precious Adeyemo and Abiola Oyefule.
The two students had been kidnapped over the weekend at their institutions Ayetoro campus by gunmen.
According to the report, the duo are currently with the Police and will soon be reunited with their families.
Governor Dapo Abiodun had earlier promised to ensure that the two students get rescued unhurt. The release by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary had given the police the marching order to have the abducted students released. More details on the students’ release will be in our subsequent bulletin.
