The Federal Controller of works, Oyo state, Engr Kayode Ibrahim has appealed to motorists plying Ojoo-Iwo road to always exercise caution to avoid loss of lives and properties.
Engr Ibrahim made the appeal in Ibadan in an interview with Radio Nigeria correspondent while speaking on the rehabilitation on- going the road .
Engr Ibrahim decried the way articulated vehicles were falling at rainbow bus stop.
The Federal Controller of works noted that the rails used to barricade the bad portion of the road had been damaged by reckless drivers causing vehicles running into it.
Engr Ibrahim said the ministry could only patch the affected portion of the road since a major rehabilitation of the road was still on-going
Two motorists who ply the road, Mr Ismaila lawal and Mr Kabiru Bayonle said government should fix the road in earnest to Address incessant accidents on the road.
They also urged their fellow drivers to always adhere strictly to driving regulations to avoid human errors that usually led to unwarranted accident.
