Voting exercise will be starting a little bit behind schedule at many polling units in Iddo local government areas of Oyo state.
A team of Radio Nigeria correspondent who monitored the exercise in Oyo south senatorial districts observed that electoral officers have not arrived designated polling booths under idoo local government.
In Ilaju, Eleyele Oko, ward 1, unit 5, no electoral materials or personnel were sighted.
Reacting to the development, electoral officer in charge of Iddo local government, Mr. Ojedele Olusoji said the delay might not be unconnected to early morning rain.
Mr Olusoji said materials had been discharged to designated centres as early as 6am this morning.
Meanwhile, no security personnel in polling units visited under the local government
