Report just reaching Radion Nigeria Correpondent says six members of a notorious robbery gang which has been terrorizing Ekiti State has been arrested.
The suspects were arrested by men of the Rapid Response Squard of the Ekiti State Police Command after the robbers raided the hostels of some students of the Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti.
According to findings, the robbers invaded the hostels of the students and forcefully cart away their valuables and money.
After a distress call, men of the RRS swung into action and the suspects were nabbed.
One of the victims who was among the students robbed overnight confirmed that his phone and other belongings of his colleague which where stolen in the operation have been handed over to them by the RRS officials after they provided concrete proof.
When contacted, the Public Rations Officer of the Ekiti State Police Command, ASP Sunday Abutu conformed the arrest of the suspects adding they confessed to the crime and several others.
