As Independent National Electoral Commission,  INEC will end Continuous Voter Registration on July 31st 2022, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has declared Tuesday, 26th July 2022 as a work-free day for PVCs registration in the State.

In a Statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Kunle Somorin, the Governor said that the public holiday would give workers the opportunity to travel to their wards, local government areas and constituencies to perfect their Permanent Voters Registration.

While pointing out that the role of PVCs cannot be over-emphasized, Governor Abiodun also said that workers who had either lost their cards or were not registered would seize the opportunity to do the needful to enable them to participate in the next general election.

The Governor urged all eligible adults to seize the opportunity of the holiday to search for their Registered Voter Cards, fill out the claims and objections forms and transfer the PVCs where necessary.
