Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Mr Adebowale Williams has ordered full-scale investigations into the recent robbery case around Queen schools Apata ibadan.
Police public relations officer in oyo state, Mr Adewale Osifeso stated this in an interview with Radio Nigeria ibadan on the update of the robbery incident.
According to the police spokesman, there was no attack on Queen Schools Apata as preliminary Investigation revealed that hoodlums tried accessing a building sharing partition with both the school and adjoining quarters but was immediately repelled by a private guard and later lost his life as he was shot in retaliation by the suspect.
Mr Osifeso noted that security has been beefed up in the area with adequate deployment of human and technology intelligence.
He added that updates would be provided accordingly, after proper investigations.
It will be recalled that a robbery attack was recorded on friday around Queens school, Apata in Ido local government area of Ibadan and claimed the life of one guard.
