Join hands with Olubadan for development – Sabit Olagoke

There is a need for all Sons and Daughters of Ibadan to cooperate with the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin and unite in building a more peaceful and prosperous Ibadanland.

The Mogaji Ogun Elu Aare Alaasa, Oja Ọba, Ibadan, Oyo State, who is also the Grand Imam, Shafaudeen in Islam Worldwide, Professor Sabit Olagoke stated this while speaking with Radio Nigeria to congratulate the 43rd Olubadan on his recent coronation. 

Professor Olagoke described Oba Olakulehin as a man of fulfilled destiny who rose to the throne of his forefathers through all the ranks to ascension, urging all Ibadan indigenes, both at home and in the diaspora, to join hands with the Monarch in building a harmonious and more developed city. 

He appealed to the new Olubadan to use his prestigious office to further push for creation of Ibadan State which has been long due, considering its population, size and development in the Country, saying, joining his voice to those who had been clamouring for it, could make it a reality at this period.

The Mogaji, Aare Alaasa, Oja Ọba, Ibadan, however, called on all other Mogajis in Ibadanland to work harmoniously with the Olubadan and his Council to ensure security, amity and even development in their respective domains. 

Professor Olagoke prayed that God will bestow knowledge and wisdom upon Oba Olakulehin, and grant him long life and good health to bless Ibadanland with abundance.
