Shepherd Staff Schools Visit Radio Nigeria
As part of effort toward broadening the horizon of young minds and raising the aspiration of students, the pupils of Shepherd Staff Nursery and Primary School, challenge, Ibadan have embarked on excursion to the Broadcasting House of Radio Nigeria, Dugbe, Ibadan.
The pupils were not only exposed to various processes involved in the transmission of news and programme but also facilities such as live and recording studio, audio console, microphones, and lots of other facilities.
Speaking on the rationale behind the excursion, the proprietor of Shepherd Staff Nursery and Primary School, Challenge, Reverend Adeniyi Oshinupe said teaching of pupils should not be limited to classroom alone, but to practical training.
Reverend Oshinupe urged parents and proprietors to undertake excursion regularly to expose the pupils to occupational realities to motivate them.
Some of the pupils expressed delight for the exposure given them.
They however appealed to the management of the school to sustain the programme for better exposure of the students.
