Children and other fun seekers maximized the opportunity of the public holiday to visit recreation centres, malls, gardens, and other playgrounds to catch fun.

In some of the malls visited, children in their numbers accompanied by their parents and guardians, took turns to access available facilities, such as riding of pony, virtual games, buying toys, among others.

Some of the children who spoke with Radio Nigeria expressed excitement at the exposure they had during the holiday.

Some parents also hinted that though the economic situation was harsh, they still had to enjoy this festive season.
