Ondo State has recorded its fourth confirmed case of coronavirus, a police officer.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, who announced this in Akure, said the police officer who tested positive for the virus in Lagos State was shuttling between the two states before finally returning to Ondo State for treatment.

The governor frowned at the attitude of the police officer.

Mr Akeredolu also noted with dismay the ineptitude nature of security operatives in securing the state borders after the directive from the government to ensure strict compliance with border closure.

Meanwhile, the fourth covid19 victim has been admitted at the infectious disease hospital, Igbatoro Road, Akure.
