Super Eagles of Nigeria is to play two friendlies next month

President Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick announced this on his twitter handle.

Pinning said Super Eagles will face Cote’d Ivoire in Australia on the 9th of October and Tunisia on the 13th of October, 2020.

According to him, ” due to the COVID-19 protocol presently in place and the proximity of the bulk of our team as well, Austria was seen as an ideal venue. I’ll have to stress as well that all cost will be borne by the Football Federation of both Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire as well as Tunisia.

The NFF also announced the death of the Head of the ICT department of the Federation Mr. Tolulope Abe who he said lost to complications arising from surgery.

He also disclosed that out of the members of staff tested for COVID-19 four had returned positive.

“While one has fully recovered and confirmed negative, others are in stable condition, receiving treatment with the full compliments of NCDC.” Pinnik added
