Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, has sacked four commissioners from his cabinet.
This was contained in a statement issued by Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr Christian Ita in Calabar.
According to the Statement, those affected by the sack are commissioners are Mike Usibe (New City Development), Rita Ayim (Women Affairs), Ntufam Etim (Climate Change) and Asu Okang (Information).
Five appointees were also sacked by Governor Ayade.
They were asked to return the government properties and vehicles in their possession to the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
He thanked the commissioners and appointees for their services to the state and wished them well in their future endeavors.
Governor Ayade had on May 20 announced his defection to the ruling party, APC.
