The outgoing Deputy Director News and Current Affairs, Radio NigeriaI, badan National station Elder Adenrele Ajisefini has been conferred with an award of Excellence for his contributions to broadcast profession and Yoruba language. He was conferred the award by the Crew of ‘Borokinni’, an audience participatory programme on Premier 93.5 FM, Ibadan, from the stable of Radio Nigeria Ibadan.
A program produced By Mr stephen Sanusi which was regularly presented by Mrs funmilayo Ilesanmi.
Presenting the award on behalf of Borokini crew, Mr Akinjide Akinsola who stood in for the regular presenter of the programme, said they had gained a lot from elder Ajisefini through his wealth of experience on the job.
Elder Adenrele Ajisefini who was also hosted on the programme on his last day in office, pointed out to the audience the correct usage of proverbs.
Elder Ajisefini urged the producer and presenter of the programme to always contact him when the need be even after retirement.
