Senegal Beat Egypt on Penalties to Win 2021 AFCON

Teranga Lions of Senegal have won the 2021 Africa cup of Nations in Cameroon after beating 7 times champions Egypt 4-2 on penalties.

Senegal, who had also played in the 2019 final, were the better side on the night but could not convert their chances as the game ended goalless after 120 minutes of action.

Liverpool star, Sadio Mane, who had earlier missed a penalty in the first half, scored the decisive spot kick to hand Senegal their first Afcon title.
