Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has sworn in Secretary to the State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo alongside newly confirmed 16 Commissioners.
The Governor also officially sworn-in the Acting Head of Service, Olubunmi Oni mni into substantive position as Head of Service (HoS), Oyo State and 13 permanent secretaries.
Governor Makinde while performing the swearing in ceremony held at the Executive chamber of the Governor’s Office, Secretariat Ibadan said the selection cut across the geopolitical zones of the State.
The governor also tasked the new cabinet members to see their appointments as a call to service urging them to shun personal interests for the the common good of the State.
While congratulating the 13 newly sworn in new permanent secretary over their new elevation, Governor Makinde described their promotion as well deserved having passed the required examination meritoriously.
He pledged to his new cabinet members that he would continue to provide a platform that would engender personal growth while pursuing the overall development of the State.
