Three inmates of the Ijebu Ode Correctional Home in Ijebu Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State have escaped from the facility.
The three inmates were said to have scaled the fence and bolted away.
The Public Relations Officer of Nigeria Correctional Service, Ogun State Command, Mr Victor Oyeleke confirmed the jailbreak.
Mr Oyeleke disclosed that the incident happened early Saturday morning around 3 am, noted that their biometrics are intact,and their families have been contacted.
He said the management of the facility are working together with other sister agencies and in good time they would be brought back
