Three persons have been presumed dead while two people sustained varying degrees of injuries in a line crash on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway around Fidiwo Bridge.
The lone accident involved a Toyota Jeep marked BDG213BJ.
The Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Ogun Sector Command, Mrs Florence Okpe who confirmed the crash in a statement in Abeokuta said that out of the 5 persons involved 2 got injured while the remaining 03 were killed from the lone crash.
She attributed the cause of the lone crash to Tyre bust speed which led to loss of control and the vehicle crash under the bridge
Mrs Okpe pointed out that the injured victims were taken to a private Hospital, Ogere while the corpses were also deposited at a private Morgue in Ipara.
She advised motorists to drive within the stipulated speed limit and always go on a routine check to detect any fault on a vehicle.
