Archbishop of ecclesiastical province of Lagos, Anglican Communion, The Most Reverend Olusola Fape has called on Ogun State governor-elect to respect his political party structure for him to achieve success during and after his tenure.

The archbishop gave the charge in Iperu Remo in a sermon at the Thanksgiving service held at Saint James’s Anglican Church to commemorate the election of Prince Dapo Abiodun as the governor elect of Ogun State.

Bishop Fape, in a message entitled “It is God who give good gifts” reminded the governor-elect that his victory at the poll came from God.

Archbishop  Fape, who is also the Bishop of Remo, stated God has chosen Prince Dapo to lead the people of Ogun State at this appointed time, so he must not ignore those who work hard for him to emerge.

He also urged the governor-elect to respect everyone around him and not to see himself as alpha and omega and untouchable human being.

In a remark, Prince Dapo Abiodun thanked God and the people of Ogun State for their support which enabled him to emerge as the next governor of God.

He said with the victory was a testimony to the power of God in giving power to whomever He wishes, and promised not to disappoint the God and the people.

Prince Abiodun promised to lead a just equitable and transparent administration in Ogun State.
