The Management of Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, Osun State says it has commenced investigation into the alleged unprofessional conduct meted on an official of the Directorate of State Service (DSS) identified as Seyi Adebowale shot by an operative of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Sunday Dada. 

A statement by the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ayodele Adeyemo made available to our correspondent in Osogbo says the investigation became necessary due to the allegation by the DSS.

The statement contends that the hospital made frantic efforts to save the life of the officer who was operated upon twice in order to ameliorate the complications of the injury sustained when presented to the hospital

It adds that the said Officer could not survive the process. 

The statement stresses that the deceased had earlier been rushed to General Hospital in Iwo before he was later referred to LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Osogbo where he was operated twice before he eventually died. 

Men of the DSS who brought the deceased to the hospital accused the hospital personnel of not giving proper care to their man which led to his death.
