Workers Day: Monday Declared Public Holiday

The Federal Government has declared Monday, May 3, public holiday to mark International Workers Day.

The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, in a statement, commended workers for their patience, understanding and support in driving the policies and programmes of the government.

Aregbesola called for more dedication and patriotism from workers and labour unions, saying the challenges of the moment will soon be over.
