Villagers of Alade, Oguntolu and Olowo in Odeda Local government area of Ogun State have called on the state government to come to their aids following the attack by herdsmen.
The plea followed the fleeing of residents of Olokomeji village in in the same Local government after an attack by herdsmen.
The olokemeji village is a neigbouring communit is about ten minutes drive to Orile Ilugun, the homestead of the Chief of Staff to the Ogun state governor, Alhaji Shuaib Salis.
According to some of the villagers the suspects during the invasion allegedly killed a resident, and threatened to return for another round of attack.
The situation which they said led to their abandoning the village to other known peaceful villages and town including orile Ilugun, Eruwa, Temidire and Abeokuta to take refuge with their families.
It was gathered that the Ogun state Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Chief Yemi Sanusi had visited the village after the incident.
The schools in the community have also been closed due following the attack.
