The Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi says his administration will construct a road that will stand a test of time to ensure motor-able roads and boost the state’s economy.
Governor Fayemi stated this while monitoring the road projects across Ilupeju/Ire/ Iluomoba road ,Oye/Ayede/ Isan/Ikun road and College of Agriculture and Technology, Isan Ekiti.
Dr. Fayemi who maintained that his administration would not accept shoddy job from any contractor, said that all the ongoing projects in the state would be monitored to justify the cost expended on them.
While assessing the projects monitored so far, the governor said that the works done were still within the expectations.
He however charged all the contractors handling various projects across the state to deliver the work within the time frame, saying that it was the reason that Government allow them to move freely like other essential workers.
