Ogun-Osun River Basin Authority Provides Boreholes to Communities

The Police community in Ogun State has been provided with a twelve – panel solar-powered borehole by the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority, OORBDA.

At the official inauguration of the project in Abeokuta, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of OORBDA, Mr Olufemi Odumosu explained that the gesture was part of the agency’s COVID19 emergency response to the challenge of potable water supply among communities.

Radio Nigeria Correspondent, Modupe Sobukonla reports that more than 300 residents from forty four rural communities in Odeda Local Government area of Ogun were also provided with stimulus package containing food items produced by the River Basin Development Authority.
